Max’s Diamond Price Guide is the official diamond price blue book. If you’re in the market for a diamond, check their site before you make your purchase. You enter in all the stats of your diamond: shape, color, clarity, cut, and so on, and then it tells you what the fair market price is for the diamond. Then you know if the guy that is selling you the diamond is giving you a deal, a steal, or a rip off.

went to dennys last night
- listened to some elvis on the way there. wow. he can belt out a few good songs that if you sing along and try to keep up, you’ll realize he’s not all heartbreak hotel and blue suede shoes.
- picked up zam on the way there.
– as i was waiting for her some come out i saw the newspaper that i had bought but not read on monday title reads “Plane Crash of the coast of Oceanside”. Really strange that I hadn’t read the article yet, as the plane had come from the small airport 2 minutes away to my house.
- dennys was crowded for that late at night. but i realize now that it was friday night. very strange that i didn’t put that connection together
– i think i was kinda out of it cause i couldn’t really hear very well in there. maybe it was just too many people all having their little conversations turned into one loud giant roar
– i didn’t eat very much i realize. i just kinda pushed the food around on my plate. of course i did order too much so maybe that’s a factor in me thinking this
– my BLT fell apart as i was eating it and I said “I was done with this sandwich, the moment i touched it”. A now classic line. It’s a perfect ‘sour grapes’ type moment, and you have to say it as if you’re bitter.
– realized how much of my ‘culture’ is food. am I obsessive about food or is it part of who i am in relation to society, as everything relates back. we build our days around 4 constant meals a day. breakfast dinner lunch midnight snack. food is where we meet people, talk to people, it’s a gathering point, an equal among all: everyone eats food. it’s a part of life. And yet there are so many different types of food and good food and bad food and with so much based around food, why would you sit and eat the same bland pre-processed meals day in and day out? So much of my childhood i was a ‘picky eater’ and i realize that i’m not a picky eater, I just love good food. Life is too short to eat bad food.
- i turned my bed into the couch futon thing so i have more room. It’s still kinda too big for the room but oh well. It’s easier to sit down and read and kick back.

A Sharp Knife by Third Eye Blind
Don’t let ___ become the norm
Nothing matters after all
To witness that is folding
Maybe it’s just sold to me
Lately it’s hard to believe
Open…..let it breathe (?)
Everyone else said, “No please”
Can’t stand these enemies
Friends like me cannot tell these days
Lately, you’re just stalling me
And it’s all disappearing
And it all falls apart
And it seems like the ending
is about, bout to start
Nature has it’s own vision
Something ___ made for fools
I can even tell me this
every moment that I’m ___, I think
This has been a change to me, something
Well I see it as a reason
or at least as a sign
And I’ve covered up all chaos
with a sense of design
And boy what you need is a sharp knife, son
You can really harm someone
Think of all the damage done
What you need is a sharp knife
You’ve come so close to take advice
You could really hurt someone
What you need is a sharp knife, boy
Yeah!
I said it!
I said it!
I said it!
I said…
Come on closer, just to me
I’ve got my witnesses to bleed
____ said to me
Something happened here to ___ knows
At least that’s how the story goes
And it’s all disappearing
And it all falls apart
And it seems like the ending
is a lot now like the start
Oh boy what you need is a sharp knife, son
Think of all the damage done
You could really hurt someone
What you need is a sharp knife
You’ve come so close to take advice
You could really hurt someone
What you need is a sharp knife, boy
Yeah!
I said it!
I said it!
I said it!
I said it!
What you need is a sharp knife, son
Think of all the damage done
You could really hurt someone
What you need is a sharp knife
You’ve come so close to take advice
You could really harm someone
What you need is a sharp knife
Yeah!
I said it!
I said it!
I said…

If you are sad right now, I want you to consider that perhaps there is nothing wrong with you. Perhaps you are seeing things the way they ought to be seen. Maybe there is just something wrong with the world right now? Instead of popping some pills in the hopes that they will put us on a perpetual even keel, maybe instead we should figure out what is wrong with our society…and fix it.
ya i take them but i think this is very true as well

pishhhh what a crazy day. ruined my favorite shoes by stepping in fresh tar.
what the heck is a mini-tar pile doing at the beach anyway. now that my shoes have saved the beach from the tar, and the trashcan saved me from my favorite shoes, i am down to 2 worn pairs of casual shoes and 1 pair of running shoes.

I went to breakfast with KW. He got his mission call on thursday (day after his birthday) and he’s going to the Philippines for 2 years to serve. Pretty darn cool.
I attended Cory Doctorow’s talk on copyright with Zam. After, We had lunch/dinner and had some delicious shrimp. Then we went to an awesome record store where I got a number of classic used LP vinyl records essentially on ‘tab’. The guy didn’t want to run the card because it’d cost him too much and so he said just pay for them next time I come back. He must gain a ton of loyal customers that way. He has alot of awesome used stuff that I think he buys and sells used vinyl.
Then KW came over and I spent a good hour trying to get a video card to work but all the ones we have are shot. So much for keeping used cards.

funny that we can store memories in hidden spaces and lock it away with a key, a song.
