That’s what they’re saying to everyone using OS X.
“Will we ever get the next version of Skype? You know, Skype 2.–”
“No.”
I wish they would update us on the project. I’m very displeased with the way things happen at Skype now. They still are the best VOIP option due to sound quality and p2p greatness, but they are loosing major points here.

When something breaks or just doesn’t work right, I just go download the latest nightly build, and suddenly everything is fresh and working 150% again.
Nightly builds are THE way to go. Stability? If something doesn’t work right, download the update! No more stability worries.

I have really gotten into the World Cup football games this year. I really enjoy watching them maneuver the ball around with full effort yet like fluid motion. I think this game on Friday, Argentina v. Germany will be one of the greatest games this 2006 World Cup has seen.

I went running again. And this time I didn’t feel bad. I felt slightly nauseous at the end but i think that’s because i wasn’t hydrated right.
anyway. I stretched, ate good today, and ran with someone else and all 3 of those things really made a difference.
So for those who are counting, I’m at 17 miles now, and I’m that much closer to 100 when I will buy myself new running shoes!

Well I tried to go running in the middle of the week .. or maybe earlier in the week. My body just doesn't want to run. It shuts down. So instead of ignoring what I should be listening to, I'm going to take my body's advice and change my excercize plans.
I'm going to start skimboarding alot. I did that this weekend and I had alot of fun and was really tired by the end of it. So it's good exercize.
I'll keep this place updated as it happens

Since starting, I've only gone out running twice. So I'm 4 days behind schedule, but I think I'm doing well. I went and skimboarded over the weekend for 30 minutes and was completely beat up from falling on the sand so I counted that as a workout but there wasn't any mileage.
I did 3.4 miles the first run, and last night at 30 minutes before midnight, I ran 2 miles. Last night was strange because I wasn't exactly planning on going running. My day had just slipped away and there was no time to get out there. Then I just knew that I had to go run that night or else I'd never really get into the habit of running and this was the breaking point. So I started out thinking, ok just go slow. Just go slow. Relax and just focus on going slow.No. Way. 4 minutes into it I was up to a nice steady pace and kept my focus on that pace the whole time. I probably slowed for the hill but that's normal. All in all ~14 minutes for ~2 miles is pretty darn good for a midnight run. I'm going to estimate that it was ~ a 7.5m pace, which puts me at 23 minute 5k if I can keep that pace for another mile. I'm going to put in some distance this week and work in a speed workout and a hills workout. I'm setting the short term goal of running at least 25 miles in next week, which translates into 6 miles in the next 5 days. I hope to put in two 5 mile runs, and one 10 mile run, plus then a 5 mile speed workout (total mileage, not all at once), plus a ~1.5 mile hill workout.
Next week is going to be a 1mile time trial where I'm going to push myself and try an run as fast as I can. I'll probably go down to the high school and run it there on tuesday. Then go for a nice 5 mile cool down run to the beach and walk back. Wednesday would be 5 miles speed, Thursday 6 miles just at a comfortable pace, Friday would be me going to the beach and skimboarding, and saturday would be another 10 mile run at a nice pace.

tonight i tried to run 3.4 miles fast. i'm not sure why I always try to do so much, so fast, all at once. I probably ran the first mile hard in 6 or 7 minutes, and then jogged and walked the rest of it.
but the good thing is that my old shoes are still golden and they don't hurt and i still like them.
3.4 miles down. 96.6 miles left until a new pair of shoes that are like my old ones, but new and fresh.
I did the whole thing in ~45 minutes.
so goals for next time. Run ~3 miles again. Slow it down and jog a consistant pace.
I've been sick all weekend and still have a terrible cold, so I'm suprised I did as good as I did.
